CHRIS HAWLEY has 30 years of experience helping businesses target what they do, whom they wish to serve, and how best to get their message to market with the dollars available. His experience spans the creative, research, and strategic sides of the marketing profession. Past clients include: J.R. Simplot, Ore-Ida Foods, Boise Cascade, Oregon Steel, Miller Nash LLP, West One Bancorp, Oregon Dental Association, and Sonetics Corporation.

 

A former college instructor in communication and political science, Chris launched Hawley + Associates in 1984. Since then, he has designed hundreds of ad campaigns; written or produced nearly 200 videos; rebranded a wide variety of industrial, retail, and professional service businesses; designed and published several association magazines; and helped start-ups secure funding with carefully researched marketing and business plans. In his spare time, he is a die-hard Jeopardy! fan, and he enjoys freelance photography and writing. He is currently editing, "That's Politics," a manuscript about his father's bid for the United States Congress in 1950.

JIM HAWLEY's career spans the diverse fields of broadcast journalism, advertising, and computer programming. His early experience includes ten years in radio as a reporter, news director and on-air talent, and five years as creative director for Camelot Advertising, where his work garnered numerous industry awards. More recently, he designed and developed the first digital pay-per-view systems for the hospitality and multi-family housing industries, including the establishment of security standards for feature-length films in association with the Motion Picture Association of America. He has particular expertise in negotiating and licensing programming from major motion picture studios, including Warner Brothers, New Line Cinema, MGM, 20th Century Fox, and Sony.

 

Jim is fluent in a number of computer programming and database languages, including Pascal, HTML, PHP, SQL, Java, and Delphi. His skill sets include e-commerce, online marketing, Web, and mobile applications, as well as SEO and content monetization.

TRACY HAYES is a graphic designer and illustrator with more than 30 years' experience, including logo design and collateral materials, print ads, signage, architectural renderings, and illustrative site maps. Her specialties include original art, logo design, graphic design for print media, illustration, illustrative cartooning, and artwork for animal-related businesses. DEL MUNROE's creative energy has been delivering eye-stopping cover shots for clients ranging from architects to wineries and everything in between. Specializing in large-format digital photography, Del’s portfolio runs the entire gamut of subjects: food, portraits, lifestyle, fine art, consumer products, heavy equipment, editorial, and illustration.

 

Del has tackled numerous projects for A-dec, the world’s largest manufacturer of dental equipment. He has also created tantalizing food and beverage ads for Izzy’s and Pizza Schmizza, as well as some of Oregon’s best-known wineries, including Erath Vineyards and Duck Pond Cellars. Del earned a degree in engineering before being bitten by the photography bug in 1982. He received specialized training in photography and illustration through the Portland Art Museum School, Portland State University, and the Nikon School of Photography. He is certified as a Professional Photographer by the Professional Photographers of America, and he received a first-place national advertising award from the Society for Technical Communication. In his spare time he enjoys athletics, motorcycles, and outdoor sports.
